One hall, one booking.

A spa treatment can be ordered ten times in one evening. A hall cannot. Once Saturday night is taken, it is taken. So this screen is built around a single question: is the hall free when I need it?

A hall is a place, not an item on a list
You can order ten breakfasts at the same time. You cannot book one ballroom twice. Each hall is one real room, and one booking holds it for the whole evening.
The date comes before the halls
The guest picks the day, the hours and the number of people first. Only then do the halls appear — and only the ones that are free and big enough. Showing a hall the guest cannot have wastes everyone's time.
"Held" means someone else is deciding
When a guest sends a request, the hall is held for a short time so no one else takes it while the hotel replies. The guest sees when the hold ends, so they know whether to wait or choose another hall.
The hotel says yes, not the app
A hall needs setup, food and staff. So the guest sends a request and the hotel confirms it. Money is only taken after that. Saying this on the screen prevents the worst kind of disappointment.
The same screen works for cabanas, boats and equipment
Anything the hotel owns a limited number of — a pool cabana, a meeting room, a projector, a car — works exactly like this. Only the name, the capacity and the price unit change.

A note for the hotel

The hotel adds each hall once — capacity, what it suits, photos, and a price per event, per hour or per person. It also sets how long a hold lasts and who approves requests. Escalé keeps one calendar per hall, so two guests can never hold the same hall for the same hours.
